Mahesh asks Bani Dadi to take care of herself, saying what would he do without her. Bani Dadi asks why he's talking like this when she's fine. Karan sits with them, explaining that Dad is right, they all really need her. As a mother-in-law, she's the only one who can scold her daughter-in-law. Karan asks Mahesh if he's telling the truth. Bani Dadi agrees that a daughter-in-law needs a mother-in-law, as love is the reason a house is formed, not just scolding. She asks Karan if he remembers that she used to consider Preeta a daughter.

Mahesh says Bani Dadi is lying; she didn't like Preeta at first and used to scold her a lot. Karan wonders why he's feeling like Preeta is around here. He suddenly leaves, and Bani Dadi asks what happened, but Mahesh is also confused.

Palki is walking, thinking about how Shanaya said she's finally getting married to the person she loves, and even Daljeet threatened to look at her after the Roka ends. Rajveer stops Palki, asking what happened. She replies she's fine. He asks where she's hidden her smile. Palki doesn't understand and asks how he'll find out what she's hiding if he doesn't say anything. Rajveer says he's talking about her smile. She replies that he's never talked like this before. Rajveer says he's never talked to anyone like this before.

Palki gets tensed when he asks what happened. She says why Shaurya isn't like him. Rajveer praises her, saying what would happen if Palki liked Shaurya instead of him. Palki says she only feels that Shanaya deserves someone who cares for her. Rajveer asks her not to worry, as they have a lot of time to make Shanaya realize Shaurya isn't the right choice for her. He asks her to always keep smiling.

Sandy is shocked, asking what Shaurya desires. Shaurya replies he only wants Palki's solo photos, not with anyone. Sandy warns Shaurya to not be like his family and get him what he desires. Sandy leaves when Shaurya thinks no one is taking him seriously, so he'll do what they desire and what he wants for himself, which is to marry Palki.

Shaurya is amazed to see Preeta standing outside his room. She slowly walks in, and he kneels to take her blessing. She's joyful seeing Shaurya and says she had to come. Shaurya explains he feels special when she's around, and he never felt like this before. Preeta replies she also feels nice when he's around, like her own son. That's why she couldn't stop herself from coming to bless him.

Shaurya asks Preeta to promise she'll support him. Preeta asks what the problem is, but Shaurya asks her to sit down and promise. Mr. Khurana goes to the Pandit ji, asking about the suspicious time for the Roka. He says it will come very soon. When he turns to leave, he's shocked to see Daljeet furious. She warns him to stop his daughter from being over-smart and trying to break this relationship.

Daljeet sees Shanaya and asks what happened. Shanaya replies everything is fine, but Daljeet says Palki came to her, suggesting they end this relationship. Shanaya asks if Palki has lost her mind. Daljeet warns Shanaya not to tell Palki anything in the future, as she's not worthy to be called her sister. Palki gets tensed listening to their conversation.

Preeta asks Shaurya what's wrong. He thinks about how his father warned him not to do anything again and get married to Shanaya. Shaurya asks Preeta if she'll talk to his father. Preeta asks about what she should talk to his father. Shaurya says she's the only one who listens to him and makes him feel special. Nidhi is shocked seeing Preeta with Shaurya.

Preeta says Shaurya is indeed very special, and he might not know the relation that exists between them both. Nidhi gets worried, thinking Preeta is going to tell Shaurya the truth. Shaurya replies it's sometimes good not to find out about a relation, as it would cause a lot of expectation and pain if it's not fulfilled. Preeta promises to always support him.

Preeta decides to give Shanaya her bangles as a gift, and everyone would get jealous thinking she loves Shaurya so much. Nidhi is worried about what might happen. Arohi suggests they trap Preeta in the room like last time.
